 SAFe Framework – Certification/Qualification

DevOps experience/know-how

Technical exposure

Strong IT background and/or qualification

 

Agile Concepts

Understanding of fundamentals, ideas and principles followed in Agile software development projects and testing models, as defined in the Agile Manifesto.

– Business and Developers Working Together

The Agile development principle of collaboration between business people and developers throughout a project’s life cycle.

– Customer Satisfaction

Knowledge of the Agile principle to fulfil customer requirements by providing early and continuous delivery of valuable and working software.

– Effective Communication

Agile principle for achieving effective communication within a project.

– Extreme Programming

Understanding of the values and principles of Agile Extreme Programming (Agile XP) and knowledge of the Agile XP core practices.

– Kanban Development

Understanding of the principles of this Agile framework and its core practices used to visualize and revise work as it is being developed.

– Lean Software Development

Knowledge of this Agile framework and its core principles to remove excess from projects to provide work with business value.

– Measure of Progress

Understanding of the Agile principle which values software that works as the primary measure of progress on an Agile project.

– Motivated Individuals

Understanding of the Agile principle to build projects around motivated individuals who can achieve the environment, support and trust needed to complete the project.

– Requirement Changes

Knowledge of Agile software development principle to adapt to and fulfil a customer’s changing requirements so the client can keep a competitive advantage.

– Scrum

Understanding of Scrum Roles; the responsibilities of these roles within the Scrum framework; the purpose of the Scrum meetings that are required; and what artefacts Scrum uses to convey the “status” of the project to the organization. 

 

– Self-Organizing Teams

Knowledge of the Agile principle of how self-organized teams — teams lead and organized by its members — can produce the best requirements and designs and results/value

– Simplicity

Understanding of the Agile principle to maximize the amount of work not done. This is the understanding of the “Keep It Simple Stupid” (KISS) metaphor.

– Software Delivery

Understanding of the Agile software development principle to deliver working software in specified time frames.

– Sustainable Development

Knowledge of the Agile principle for the sponsors, developers and users be able to maintain a constant development pace.

– Team Reflection and Improvement

Understanding of the Agile principle for teams to use reflection to create a more effective team.

– Technical Excellence and Good Design

Understanding of the Agile principle promoting technical excellence and good design for enhanced agility.
